In January 2017, Carmen Micu, PhD joins Riverside Massage Therapy and Wellness in their united vision to help the people of Fergus and surrounding area to improve their quality of life! Carmen fell in love with the beauty of this area, and relocated from Toronto to Fergus in 2013.

In addition to her PhD education, Carmen obtained her Registered Homeopathic training from the British Institute of Homeopathy in 2006, Osteopathic Manual Practitioner training from the Canadian Consilium of Natural Health in 2016, as well as her Registered Massage Therapy diploma from Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy in August 2014.

Carmen has subsequently practiced as Registered Massage Therapist at Spintec Physiotherapy Motor Vehicle Accident Clinic in Kitchener, and at Soothe Acupuncture Clinic in Toronto. Under the scope of Massage Therapy, she offers other advanced techniques such as; acupuncture, cupping, reflexology, and cranio-sacral therapy.

Multi-talented Carmen is passionate about the Body-Mind- Soul approach which empowers patients to facilitate their own healing process. Through a thorough health interview and consultation/assessment we work together to create a personalized treatment plan for each client that would help bring them to their level of wellness.
